I received a phenomenal education from Friends University in Marriage and Family Therapy, am certified as an Addictions Counselor, and am in my second year of working toward my Certified Eating Disorder Specialist certification. Like many therapists, I am a wounded healer who has had a front row seat to healing from an eating disorder, witnessing the destruction of addiction, and have had to carry my own and bear witness to the unimaginable weight of grief as a result of suicide. As a result, I have used these experiences to allow me to become familiar and comfortable with the feelings they create within my body and have extensive knowledge as to how these emotions manifest in my mindset and decisions.

Though these topics are difficult to talk about, my passion lies in helping others understand and allow these difficult emotions to move through the body in a way that gives it space to heal. Whether it’s you or a loved one who have propelled you to find your way here, I would be greatly honored to become part of your narrative of healing.

“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathic witness.”

— Peter Levine, Somatic Experience Practitioner
